Overview
UltraLink™-GX80 Advanced is INTRACOM TELECOM's high-performance E-Band (71-76/ 81-86 GHz) radio ideal for the transport network needs of Mobile 5G as well as Fixed network operators. As the evolution of the field-proven UltraLink-GX80 E-Band radio, it builds on its strengths, while offering increased system gain, throughput, improved connectivity and functionality capabilities.
UltraLink™-GX80 Advanced offers up to 15 Gbit/s Full Duplex throughput in 1+0 radio link configuration, utilizing one unit and one single polarization antenna per link side, by employing an industry-leading 512QAM modulation in a 2000 MHz-wide channel.
Benefits
- Up to 15 Gbit/s full-duplex Ethernet throughput in 1+0 configuration, delivering the most spectrally efficient single-transceiver E-Band radio performance.
- Dual Band configuration support, based on L1-link aggregation, with INTRACOM TELECOM MW radios enhances link range/availability for up to 15Gbit/s throughput E-Band-based links.
- Dual Band configuration support, based on L1-link aggregation, with third-party vendor radios enables easy link capacity upgrades up to 15Gbit/s throughput.
- Integrated Ethernet Bridge offers advanced L2 Carrier Ethernet networking functionality and comprehensive QoS.
- Software upgradeable to offer IP/MPLS networking functionality additionally to L2 networking functionality.
- Support of 3 x 1/10 GbE (SFP/SFP+) and 2x1GbE Electrical concurrently operating interfaces, enabling multi-sector capacity aggregation and formation of complex network configurations without additional networking devices.
- Transport of Ethernet and eCPRI traffic by the unit provides support for multiple 5G RAN architectures.
- Integrated radio link quality monitoring and diagnostics functionality enables faster deployment and efficient troubleshooting.
- As a compact fully outdoor radio, it minimizes cabinet, pole space and powering requirements and related TCO.
- Operation in low-licensing cost spectrum.
UltraStead-E : High Performance automatic 2-D beam stabilization antennas
Overview
UltraStead-E is INTRACOM TELECOM's Automatic E-Band/Dual Band antenna beam stabilization solution, which has been designed to provide dynamic link alignment stabilization and optimization in two-dimensions (2-D), i.e. in both the Elevation and Azimuth planes. The UltraStead-E beam stabilization system has been designed to provide link alignment stabilization for both E-Band and Dual Band antennas of nominal diameters of 60cm and 90cm. It is compatible with the UltraLink-GX80 Advanced and the UltraLink-GX80 Dual radios.
Benefits
- Maintains E-Band or Dual Band link capacity and link availability when the antenna installation structure suffers from temperature-related deformations causing link misalignment.
- Enables deployment of 90cm nominal diameter antennas, enhancing the link gain compared to 60 cm diameter antennas, allowing the extension of the link range by 20%.
- The Dual Band capability the UltraStead-E system can enhance the range extension benefit derived from the use of 90 cm diameter antennas, by multiplying it with the range extension benefit of the Dual Band configuration.
- Assists in optimizing the initial alignment, especially of 90cm antennas, so that the link is aligned faster for optimum antenna-related link gain, which is maintained throughout the lifetime of the system.
- It is fully manageable remotely, implementing strict access and communication security measures and providing status monitoring, configuration control, SW upgradability.
