Physical and Cyber Security Solutions
With the ever-increasing number of systems, devices, users and their interactions, cybersecurity aspects are critical concerns in information systems applied in the digitalisation of almost all aspects of the society covering a plethora of domain fields (e-Health, IoT ecosystems etc.) Moreover, exposing digital services associated with critical infrastructures increases risks from regional to national, and even international levels. Cybersecurity touches all aspects of securing and protecting digitalized systems to prevent cyberattacks and mitigate their impact such as vulnerability and risk assessment. Furthermore, physical security has become an integral part of protecting any modern digital system, in particular linked with inter-linked critical infrastructures, necessitating a comprehensive approach to ensuring cyber-physical protection, as well as strategies for prevention, response and recovery.
Intracom Telecom has been involved in various activities related to the general concept of security research since few years providing solutions that range from incidence and crisis management to physical security and cyber-security and covering different domains like e-Health and railway networks. The company is a member of the Integrated Mission Group for Security (IMG-S) and participates in various research groups (TA2 group on Communications, TA4 group on Resilience, TA5 group on Information Management, and TA7 group on Cyber-Security). Indicative projects include SPHINX, SAFETY4RAILS, and AF3, being presented below.
