Overview
UltraLink™-GX80 is a high-performance, high-capacity E-Band (71-76 / 81-86 GHz) radio designed for use in demanding wireless transport applications. Its cutting-edge modem and RF transceiver technology deliver market-leading E-Band link range at 10 Gbit/s full duplex throughput. UltraLink™-GX80 is a uniquely versatile fully-outdoor radio suitable for wide variety of applications. It supports Ethernet/IP, eCPRI or CPRI traffic transport, while offering a rich set of L2 and L3 networking features for the delivery of Carrier Ethernet and IP/MPLS-based services. UltraLink™-GX80 is ideally suited for 4G/4G+/5G RAN backhaul, midhaul and fronthaul or any transport application in Ethernet/IP-based networks as an alternative to optical fiber.
Benefits
- Up to 10 Gbit/s full-duplex throughput, in 1+0 configuration, offering the most cost-effective alternative to optical fibre.
- Up to 20 Gbit/s full-duplex capacity over a single antenna in 2+0 XPIC configuration.
- Highest System Gain at 10Gbit/s, enabling 10Gbit/s operation for >14km ranges.
- Dual Band configuration support, based on L1-link aggregation, with INTRACOM TELECOM or Third-Party MW radios enhances link range/availability for up to 10Gbit/s throughput E-Band-based links.
- Transport of Ethernet, eCPRI or CPRI traffic on the same unit supports multiple 4G/5G RAN architectures.
- Offers advanced L2 & IP/MPLS networking functionality without the need for additional networking devices.
- Integrated radio link quality monitoring and diagnostics enables faster deployment and efficient troubleshooting.
- As a compact outdoor radio it minimizes cabinet and pole space requirements and related TCO.
- Operation in low-licensing cost spectrum.
UltraStead-E : High Performance automatic 2-D beam stabilization antennas
Overview
UltraStead-E is INTRACOM TELECOM's Automatic E-Band/Dual Band antenna beam stabilization solution, which has been designed to provide dynamic link alignment stabilization and optimization in two-dimensions (2-D), i.e. in both the Elevation and Azimuth planes. The UltraStead-E beam stabilization system has been designed to provide link alignment stabilization for both E-Band and Dual Band antennas of nominal diameters of 60cm and 90cm. It is compatible with the UltraLink-GX80 Advanced and the UltraLink-GX80 Dual radios.
Benefits
- Maintains E-Band or Dual Band link capacity and link availability when the antenna installation structure suffers from temperature-related deformations causing link misalignment.
- Enables deployment of 90cm nominal diameter antennas, enhancing the link gain compared to 60 cm diameter antennas, allowing the extension of the link range by 20%.
- The Dual Band capability the UltraStead-E system can enhance the range extension benefit derived from the use of 90 cm diameter antennas, by multiplying it with the range extension benefit of the Dual Band configuration.
- Assists in optimizing the initial alignment, especially of 90cm antennas, so that the link is aligned faster for optimum antenna-related link gain, which is maintained throughout the lifetime of the system.
- It is fully manageable remotely, implementing strict access and communication security measures and providing status monitoring, configuration control, SW upgradability.
