Overview
UltraLink™-BX70 is an ultra-compact all-outdoor Ethernet high-capacity radio operating in the 71-76 GHz part of the E-Band spectrum that is ideally suited for use in cost-sensitive applications.
Using TDD duplexing mode, it achieves throughputs of up to 1.6 Gbit/s bidirectional aggregate, that can be flexibly divided in various configurable directional traffic ratios. It offers a comprehensive set of Carrier Ethernet networking features enabling the formation of network configurations and the delivery of networking services without additional devices. UltraLink™-BX70 is designed to be easily mounted on poles and lamp posts, to enable convenience and speed of installation in traditional telco, as well as street-level environments.
UltraLink-BX70 can be used by Fixed Wireless Access operators/WISPs/ISPs, for offering Gigabit access/connectivity to houses and businesses. UltraLink-BX70 is a cost-optimized E-Band radio using TDD mode, to suit cost-sensitive asymmetrical traffic applications such as GTTx, Enterprise connectivity and camera backhaul.
Benefits
- Ideal for cost-sensitive wireless GTTx and enterprise connectivity services.
- Enables fast and flexible network deployment and services activation.
- Due to its embedded Carrier Ethernet functionality, it can implement complex Ethernet distribution network topologies without external switch equipment.
- Maximizes spectral efficiency for asymmetric traffic profiles in broadband access and camera backhaul networks.
- Operation in low-licensing cost spectrum. Furthermore, in several countries TDD E-Band systems benefit from reduced spectrum fees.
