The WiBAS™ family of base station radios deliver state-of-the-art IP connectivity offering leading Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) technology in area-licensed bands.

WiBAS™-OSDR addresses the needs for advanced broadband Fixed Wireless Access as well as demanding HetNet backhaul and legacy access networks.

It is based on the software-defined platform and can also operate in Point-to-Point (PtP) mode with the appropriate license key to address sparsely-populated areas and extend the reusability of the radios in the network.

Applications

Mobile Backhaul

Compared to PtP coverage for the same area, the WiBAS™ PtMP technology demonstrates considerable CapEx reductions and major OpEx savings of up to 70%. WiBAS™ treats each radio link independently and assigns bandwidth dynamically, thus optimizing sector capacity planning and leveraging the radio resource-sharing nature of PtMP.

Corporate Access

WiBAS™ delivers the high resiliency and reliability required to fulfill demanding customer SLAs. The capability for sectors along with the rapid network deployment and high-capacity sectors enable WiBAS™ to become a successful alternative to wireline and other wireless solutions.

Residential Access

WiBAS™-Connect Terminal Stations in the WiBAS™ system perfectly fit residential broadband access requirements, operating in area licensed bands (10.5, 26 and 28 GHz) and guaranteeing QoS with very small size, appealing design and very low power consumption.
