Athens, Greece - 20 June 2024 - Intracom Telecom, a global technology vendor and solutions provider, announces the award of the Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system project of Athens International Airport. The Company will use its SISC² platform to integrate a unified operational picture and enhance situational awareness for security and safety operations across AIA’s internal and external critical infrastructure.

The core of the system is based on Intracom Telecom's command & control technology named SISC². Leveraging advanced capabilities in data integration, processing and analysis of kinematic and positioning data from ground surfaces, SISC² enhances intrusion detection and automates the triggering of alarms and alerts within AIA’s security operations centers. This proactive approach strengthens AIA’s preparedness against both man-made threats and natural disasters.
