Athens, Greece – 16 July 2021 -Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced that Mr. Pat Wilson, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), has visited the company's premises in Peania, Greece. The primary purpose of the Commissioner's visit was to thank Intracom Telecom for the commitment and investment in Atlanta, Georgia State, through the Group's subsidiary Conklin-Intracom, and to learn more about the company and its plans for the US market.
During the visit, the Commissioner was introduced to the company's innovative and wide solutions portfolio that is promoted by Intracom Telecom's US entity, and was briefed on the company's activities in the aforementioned market. In this framework, senior executives of Intracom Telecom gave detailed presentations on the Wireless Network Solutions and IoT /IPTV activities in the United States, as well as discussed future opportunities, new collaborations and projects in the country and in the region of North America. The discussion included also the conveniences and programs that are available by the State of Georgia towards companies to establish and enhance their operations at the state. Special emphasis was placed on Intracom Telecom's FWA WiBAS™ solutions towards country's efforts to bridge the digital "gap" in rural USA and in specific in Georgia State.
