Quality Management Certificate

Since its establishment in 1977, INTRACOM has placed great emphasis on the quality of its products and services. It was the first Greek company to obtain ISO 9001 certification in 1991 and the first Greek company to update its certification in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standard in January 2001.

Following the same principles, Intracom Telecom has been constantly improving its Quality Management System and is currently certified to ISO 9001:2015 standard. By promptly upgrading its Quality Management System to the latest ISO 2015 edition, the company reaffirmed its focus towards continual improvement, seizing the opportunity to further align its QMS with strategy and business objectives, enhance the risk-based approach in decision making and stimulate sustainable improvement in a fast changing business environment.

The company's rigorous Management Systems and its demonstrated commitment to improvement and innovation are among the critical factors that led Intracom Telecom to being an approved supplier to major international telecom service providers and a reliable partner in joint ventures for the implementation of integrated telecommunication systems.

Environmental Management Certificate

Intracom Telecom implements its Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001:2015 standard in an integrated manner with ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 45001:2018 (Health and Safety) based Management Systems.

Intracom Telecom defines and documents all environmental aspects of its operations and their associated impacts. Evaluation of environmental aspects and impacts is performed against predefined criteria including legislative and other regulatory requirements and Emergency Response Plans are designed to secure containment and mitigation of such impacts.

The company has promptly upgraded its Environmental Management System to the latest ISO 2015 edition determining the environmental aspects and impacts of its activities, products and services - considering a life cycle perspective - and addressing their risks and opportunities.

Intracom Telecom achieves continual improvement by undertaking specific environmental objectives based on identified environmental impacts, and implementing relevant programmes to realise such objectives.

Intracom Telecom adheres to the Greek National Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment compliance scheme ("Appliances Recycling S.A."- Reg. No 1751) in order to fulfil its obligations according to EU directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE directive). Also, depending on the export marketing channels and methods used, Intracom Telecom seeks registration to EU National WEEE Take Back schemes as per the transposition of WEEE directive to the relevant National laws.

Intracom Telecom has taken all necessary steps to ensure compliance of its products with the EU directive on the restriction of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS directive).

Intracom Telecom is aware of its obligations with regard to the REACH Regulation and as a manufacturer and supplier of "articles" - as defined in article 3(3) - complies with the requirements of the regulation.

Occupational Health & Safety Certificate

Intracom Telecom implements its Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to the ISO 45001:2018 standard and integrates it with the ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environment) based management systems.

This specification enables the company to identify and control Occupational Health and Safety risks, prepare Emergency Response plans, and improve overall performance.

Identified occupational hazards are categorized against predefined criteria that comply with legislative and regulatory requirements. Intracom Telecom maintains continual improvement by realising specific objectives based on the hazard categorisation and monitoring and documenting the achievement of these objectives.

Information Security Certificate

Intracom Telecom has been the first South-European public cloud provider to apply an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in compliance with ISO 27001 to govern its operations.

In 2015, Intracom Telecom has extended this certification to cover all activities of its Services Business Division, which is responsible for the design, development, implementation, deployment, management & operation of a wide range of ICT Services & Solutions to customers, including datacenter, security, networking, advanced meter infrastructure, smart meters, eHealth, service provider enablement solutions, as well as of information systems and applications that support the provision of cloud, hosting and collocation services.

In 2018, Intracom Telecom has extended this certification to cover all activities of the company in all three locations in Greece, thus establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an Information Security Management System within the context of the entire organization.

The ISO 27001:2013 certification ensures that a consistent management framework regarding information security is applied, whilst ensuring that the relevant services are delivered in a manner protecting corporate and customer information assets.

Privacy Information Management System

Intracom Telecom applies a Privacy Information Management System (PIMS) in compliance with ISO 27701:2019, as an extension to ISO 27001, aiming to ensure that the company has defined and implements adequate and appropriate technical and organizational measures for the protection of personal data.

This certification covers all activities of the company as a processor, through the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of a consistent framework, which specifies the requirements for the secure management of personal data.

Business Continuity Management

Intracom Telecom implements its Business Continuity Management System in accordance with ISO 22301:2019.The certification against the requirements of ISO 22301, the international standard for Business Continuity Management, enables Intracom Telecom to demonstrate its commitment to having a most robust BCMS in place.

BCM is a holistic management system that identifies potential threats to an organization which, if realized, may cause partial or total disruption of business operations. Therefore, the BCM provides a framework for building organizational resilience with the capability for an effective response that safeguards the interests of company's key stakeholders, reputation, brand name and value-creating activities.

Industrial Security

Intracom Telecom has been certified according to the "National Industrial Security Regulation" of the Greek Ministry of Defense and implements all procedures and controls required for handling of materials and documents with security level SECRET - NATO SECRET - EU SECRET.

Laboratory Accreditation

Intracom Telecom's "EMC & Safety Laboratory", located at the company's headquarters in Greece, has been granted ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation by ESYD (Hellenic Accreditation System), a non-profit legal entity of private law with the purpose of the implementation and management of the National Accreditation System supporting clients worldwide. ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the most reputable quality standard for testing and calibration laboratories. In order to become the first, awarded by ESYD, laboratory for RF spectrum measurements, Intracom Telecom demonstrated excellent technical competence and outstanding ability to generate valid, accurate and impartial results.

Service Management

Intracom Telecom implements a Service Management System (SMS) according to ISO 20000-1:2018 standard, to maintain a high quality of services provided by its Services Business Division, and to ensure that it operates responsibly in compliance with its contractual obligations as well as the legal and regulatory requirements related to the services.

The SMS fulfills all standard's requirements for identifying, understanding, and meeting services' requirements, planning, designing, implementing, managing, controlling, and continually improving the services provided to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver value for customers and the company.
