FASTmux 5000 GEX

FASTmux 5000GEX is the youngest member of the successful FASTmux family of products of INTRACOM TELECOM. It is an IP mini-DSLAM, tailored to optimally address the requirements of the Next Generation Network Services. Leveraging the advantages of Gigabit Ethernet and ADSL2plus technologies the model enables the Telecom Operators to provide profitable and innovative applications. Such applications include High Speed Internet, VoIP, IPTV, VoD to residential end-users as well as video conferencing, Virtual Private Line and Virtual Private Network (VPN) services to enterprises.

Designed in compliance with the standards and based on the company's long-standing experience in designing advanced and hardened telecommunications equipment, FASTmux 5000GEX constitutes a robust product. Its hardened design and overheating protection mechanism guarantee uninterrupted operation under extreme temperatures. The intelligent passive cooling design employs the minimum maintenance cost, maximizes reliability and extends the life cycle of the product, thus offering a value added benefit. The model supports the required bandwidth efficiency, and enhanced features related basically to the quality of service, security guarantee as well as multicasting to best address the requirements of the triple-play services. FASTmux 5000GEX constitutes an ideal and reliable solution for FTTC/ FTTB implementations, which ensures not only CAPEX and OPEX savings for service providers but also customers' satisfaction.
