The IDR-C is the latest addition to the INTRALINK microwave radio product family for PDH that combines hardware, software, experience and competence to provide global standards compliance, state of the art design and climatically diverse field-proven performance.

IDR-C further extends the extensive line of INTRACOM TELECOM IDR PDH series with enriched features regarding agility and interfaces. The capacity and modulation agility capabilities fulfil any network requirements for capacity and range, while the redundancy capabilities and the standardized interfaces ensure error-free integration in all types of existing and future transport networks. IDR-C has now become more IP friendly with the new 10/100Base-T(X) interfaces and also provides an optimum upgrade path to SDH due to the common Outdoor Unit with the ISR product.

Features
  • Robust transmission - High system gain (Tx output power + Receiver Sensitivity). This maximizes the distance that can be covered, or for specific distances, reduces the order of antennas required.
  • Automatic Transmit Power Control (ATPC) that reduces the effect of interferences.
  • High Performance ODU option, with increased output power (PDH), while capable to support PDH/SDH traffic. This provides an optimum upgrade path to SDH with minimum cost that of the SDH IDU, thus covering any future network capacity requirement.
  • Modulation agility / efficiency QPSK and 16QAM (128QAM in the SDH version), which determines the channel spacing and it can lead to major savings in the cost of spectrum. The modulation is user selectable, so for fixed channel spacing it offers higher capacity while with larger channel spacing it can offer high system gain.
  • Capacity agility, with standardized traffic interfaces ranging from 2 to 16E1, E3, Mixed Ethernet and E1, user selectable.
  • Redundancy options that include 1+1 configurations for added protection. Hot stand-by, space diversity & frequency diversity options are available, while agility is provided via the upgrade capability of 1+0 configurations to 1+1.
  • Multiple Service channels, asynchronous and synchronous.
  • Compact Mechanical design, with 1RU & 2RU available versions. IDR-C lightweight versions allow ease of installation and reduction of space floor. They are nevertheless mechanically robust and suitable for harsh environmental conditions.
  • Intelligent system supervision and management, including optional intuitive front panel display, local craft terminal with user friendly Graphical User Interface & rich feature set, and remote management via SNMP.
  • Remote management via PRMS, INTRACOM TELECOM state of the art integrated Network Management platform that can manage nationwide point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radio link deployments. Additionally, any third party NMS platform can be integrated.
