Senior Systems Engineer

The job holder will be tasked with:
- Implementation & support of UNIX/Linux based systems (hardware/software installations, migrations, upgrades) for clients in Greece and abroad
- Participation in multidisciplinary / multi technology teams for the design and implementation of solutions (e.g. virtualisation, storage, cluster, high availability) & services (e.g. system administration, backup maintenance) based on the above platforms
- Troubleshooting of complex problems on client critical infrastructure & production networks
- Leading and coordinating the work of a small team of systems engineers (1-3)
- Providing pre-sales support
Required Competencies
Education
- University degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications
Knowledge / skills
- 3-5 years experience preferably in a service oriented environment
- CSA - HP-UX v11 certification (or equivalent experience)
- In-depth and hands-on experience in HP-UX and SUSE administration
- Experience in capturing requirements and designing systems accordingly
- Analytical thought in addressing complex and challenging problems
- Very good command of the English language (spoken & written)
- Availability to travel abroad

Knowledge/skills:
